Our story began over forty years ago in the quaint town of Roaring Springs. What started out as a small business importing American Indian jewelry quickly grew into a shining livelihood. Today we are proud to serve generations of families, helping them celebrate their special moments with beautiful, timeless jewelry.
Rooted in Roaring Springs
In 1979, Thacker Jewelry opened its doors on Broadway and 2nd Street in Roaring Springs. After taking a hiatus from his own jewelry manufacturing business, Joe Thacker saw a need to preserve his hometown.
So, he set up shop as the premiere wholesale jewelry distributor to Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. But he didn't stop there.
A Legacy in Lubbock
After coming to the realization that custom jewelry and retail sales were his favorite part of the industry, Joe Thacker opened another store in Lubbock in 1983. Since then, we have proudly served the people of Lubbock as if they were a part of our own family.
Today, those principles live on in our 3,500 square foot showroom, housing an endless collection of Texas' finest jewelry.
